PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The TIKAL DOG BANDANA is a lightweight woven ikat dog bandana that got it’s name after an ancient Mayan city. This fabric was woven on a treadle loom without the use of electricity in a Mayan town in the highlands of Guatemala. The ikat design is dyed into the thread before it is woven. The thread is tied much like tie dying, then the weaver takes that thread and turns it into this gorgeous fabric. Because this is one of Luck of Tuck’s limited edition, exclusive prints, it is slightly more expensive than the others!

NOTE: Sizing may vary depending on stitching, so always allow a little wiggle room in your measurements + a few inches on each end for the knot!

1. Run bandana under water
2. Put bandana in freezer for 1 hour
3. Take bandana out of freezer and tie on your lucky charm
4. Enjoy the sunshine

Care

Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry.
